Comfort. Craftsmanship. Character.

This is Tetrad.

Since 1968, Tetrad has been crafting sofas with soul from our Lancashire factory. What began as a small family upholstery business has grown into one of Britain’s most distinctive furniture brands — yet the essence remains the same: honest materials, time-honoured skills, and furniture made to be truly lived in.

We don’t believe a sofa is just a seat.
It’s where stories unfold, dogs claim their corners, conversations stretch long into the evening, and Sunday afternoons disappear. It’s the heart of the home.

And that’s why we make them the way we do.

COMFORT

Comfort isn't an afterthought - it's our starting point.

from carefully considered seat depths, to hand-filled cushions and supportive sprung bases, every Tetrad design is made to welcome you in and make you stay. We layer natural materials, premium fillings and traditional upholstery techniques to create sofas that don't just look inviting - they feel exceptional.

Sink in. Stretch out. Stay a while.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

True craftsmanship can’t be rushed.

Every Tetrad sofa is handmade in Lancashire by skilled upholsterers who understand their craft inside out. We use solid hardwood frames, expertly constructed and built to last. Our fabrics — from characterful Harris Tweed 100% wool to woven jacquards and supple leathers — are all carefully selected for their authenticity and quality.

Cut, stitched, upholstered and finished by hand, each piece carries the mark of the people who made it.

This is furniture with integrity.

CHARACTER

We’ve never followed trends. We create pieces with personality.

Tetrad designs are distinctive, expressive and rich in detail — from deep buttoning and turned hardwood feet to heritage fabrics and bold textures. We embrace natural materials in all their individuality, celebrating subtle variations, unique markings and the beauty of imperfection.

No two homes are the same.
And neither are our sofas.

This is furniture with integrity.

MADE IN BRITAIN. MADE TO LAST.

From our Lancashire factory, we continue to evolve — blending heritage techniques with thoughtful innovation. While styles may develop, our values remain constant: quality without compromise, comfort without question, and character in every detail.

When you choose Tetrad, you’re choosing more than a sofa.

You’re choosing craftsmanship, authenticity and a piece of furniture that will become part of your home’s story for years to come.
